Hi Jony,
Thank you for sharing your book with me. I am really enjoying reading it. It makes me so grateful for life. I try to live each day as it is presented to me and I try to look at the positive side of everything. We have so much that we take for granted. I appreciate just the little things in life and to be aware of them is a true blessing. People always ask me how I can be so happy and be in a good mood all the time. I know the answer. It is because I appreciate life. I try not to take things for granted. I understand hard times as well as good times. I also understand nothing is always. Reading your book just reinforced my beliefs about life.
Thank you. Good luck with everything and please continue to write

Dear Jony,
I received notice of your book and have ordered up to 6 copies. I want my family members and friends in other parts of the country to have their own copies. I will have you autograph them for me. I am so excited for you!
Thank you so very much
I know you will have a best-seller some day!

Jony,
What a great poem!! Being a "farmer's daughter," I especially related to it!! Alas...my father has not ventured into the land of the white-fleshed nectarine....Perhaps I can show him this poem to encourage him!!!

Please tell your father I appreciate his feedback and to keep farming as long as he can!
It's my continued prayer that farmers like your dad continue to farm in the Valley and that new markets and consumers embrace their produce.
Now, you can understand my passion to encourage risk-taking, stoic people like your dad.
For everything I receive in terms of the enjoyment of the local fruits and vegetables, this book is the only thing I can give back to these guys who have to wrestle every year with their decision to farm one more year or sell out the land.

Thanks Jony
It's been so hard for me to watch my father go through the bad patches of farming. Farming is his life yet because of the lack of support and appreciation, he has become more of a business machine rather than a creator. Fruit to him now sadly represents the dollar sign rather than sustenance. I hope that with your prayers and the prayers of others the farmers of the world can get back to what is truly in their hearts...growing beautiful food which they know will be savored by their communities and which will feed the hungry.

Author's Final Response
Wow, this is powerful. The good thing is that you understand what's in his heart and can be part of his support team. Parents like yours and mine are proud of us. Their struggles are not rewardless. All the more reason for all of us to consume CA-grown crops first!
Have a good day.
You made mine!
Your book is great. You are an inspiration to me! Thanks for being there for me and these encouraging words!
